2015 XFF Rivalry Week Game Football schedule

It’s the team that makes your blood boil the most as a GM. When you see this team on the schedule, you know it’s going to be a fight. Simply put, you just don’t like this team. In the XFF League, over the past year, there haven’t been a lot of great rivalries, except for the war of words from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Green Bay Packers. It’s hard to call this a rivalry since the Packers put hands on the Buccaneers in both of their matchups. Nevertheless, these two franchise are the closest thing to a true rivalry in the XFF. But, that is about to change in this league and key matchups are set to be instigated with the introduction of rivalry week games.

MUST READ:  2015 XFF Schedule Release

The XFF implemented a rivalry week during the final regular season games, which went over extremely well for some teams. The winners for these games were allowed to change the losing team’s name to whatever name they wanted for one week.  There’s no better feeling than taking home a win against your most heated rival, and on the other hand, it’s a sickening feeling when your rival pulls out a close win, or even when they beat the snot out of you.

“Rivalry Week was a huge hit with the league last season and we want to bring this back this season,” said league commissioner Wayne. “There are 256 regular season games in the XFF, and while there are plenty of those worth watching closely, it’s important to mark your calendars for some of the really intriguing matchups,” Commish said. “Although, we can’t do Sunday night, Monday Night or Thursday Night games in the league, we can call out a ‘games of the week’ each week and add extra incentives to these games,” said Commish. “These games will be the most anticipated matchups of any given week.” “So, we plan to designate a game to represent the NFL Thursday Night Game, a Sunday Night Game, and a Monday Night game.” “We want this thing to operate similar to last season rivalry week game: (1) win your game when selected for rivalry week, (2) notify the me of the name change for your opponent, (3) I will add the new name to the losing team,” Commish said. “The team with the changed team name will have to wear the name to the following Sunday game and then the name is switched back to their original franchise name.”

Obviously, such the list of rivalry games will feature a lot of talk about the New York Jets, Baltimore Ravens, Carolina Panthers, Denver Broncos and other elite teams in the league. Of course we’ll want to see how the defending XFF Super Bowl champion is looking, and how the Carolina Panthers are respond to their revamped roster. But other than simply watching the elite face the elite, there are plenty of underlying stories and intrigue to make one matchup better than another.

So, here is the complete Rivalry Week Game schedule for 2015 season – you can bet each of these games are going to be worth watching, one way or the other. More importantly, it’s going to be interested to see what the name change will be for the losers of these matchups.
